Lorraine American Cemetery Memorial

The largest American World War II cemetery in Europe, the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, close to ACE Hotel Creutzwald Saint-Avold, is a place for sober reminiscence. It houses the tombs of 10,489 soldiers who fell during the war. White and perfectly aligned Latin crosses for the Christian fallen, and stars of David for those from the Jewish faith remind us of the battles fought for our freedom.
